Referral visit
I had a visit today with Dr Erica Han at the Houston ENT & Allergy located in Kingwood. It turned out to be very disappointing. I was referred by one of the ENT doctors in that facility. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived I found out that she does not take my insurance. I was very frustrated because number 1 i completed the preregistration and no one called to inform me . And number 2 i took off work and missed time to go there. I did not call my insurance myself because usually the doctor office will verify your insurance prior the visit. But in this case that didn't happen till I arrive at my appointment. Since this was a referral in the same facility, it never dawned on me to check. I do not fault the doctor which is probably a good doctor. But I guess I will never know. The preregistration system seems to need work.
