Poor listener, defensive
I saw Erin several times. From the first time I realized she had poor communication skills but figured I could handle that. But, that led to me not understanding important information and her not understanding what I was dealing with, which led to my health getting much worse. She read ultrasound results incorrectly on two different occasions. She was very defensive, which led to poor decision-making. I left my last appointment feeling totally panicked about my health and backed into a corner. I highly recommend avoiding unless you have a very strong personality.

Misdiagnosed me
First of all she gave no warning when she put the speculum in which shocked me and didn’t lube it enough. Then she told me she saw I had BV but it was literally normal healthy discharge (shown by lab results) so I was put on this harsh antibiotic gel that caused cramping and bleeding for 5 days. Oh it also took me 3 days and 3 different pharmacies to get metronidazole, I was running around like a headless chicken trying to get it.Then after I finished that treatment they told me I didn’t have BV I actually had a UTI then the lady on the phone gaslit me and said the reason I visited was because I had BV symptoms. They were trying to cover themselves up. The original reason I went is was to get my iud checked, and I just so happened to have UTI symptoms that day which were nothing like BV symptoms. I was then put on UTI medication finally. I agree with other comments, she never explained things fully and I got bad vibes from her, she treated me as if I was stupid. Not seeing her again!

Bedside manner needs improvement
Erin performed my 8 week ultrasound as none of the MDs were available; I’m glad she was never in charge of my prenatal care. She spent a few minutes fiddling with the ultrasound and seemed very confused on how to operate it. Her bedside manner was horrible. She talked to me, a 30-something woman pursuing a second Master’s degree, in a patronizing way, asking if I “liked school”. Like I was a ten year old she was entertaining. She kept getting distracted when I was speaking so I just stopped asking questions, saving them until I could see my provider.

PLEASE DO NOT GO SEE ERIN! She was the one to do my IUD procedure and completely messed it up. The strings got lost and were cut too short. Over half of a year later with terrible side effects and symptoms of the IUD, I went to go see her and have it removed. She went to try and get it out and after 5 attempts of sticking the prong up my vagina with me in agonizing pain, tears streaming down my face, she still couldn't find the strings to remove it. I left the hospital with the IUD still inside me and in total shock and pain from the "procedure". Save yourself from this terrible pain and go see a real doctor to have an IUD inserted and removed. Talk to a real doctor and do not go see this woman. I even sent a complaint to Boulder Medical Center and did not get any comments back on this tragic event.

Erin delivered my son when my regular OBGYN was on vacation. Right away I felt her bedside manner was cold as she appeared uncaring and annoyed with my questions. My son went to NICU because he had issues breathing and Erin didn't explain that's where they were taking him. She said he was going to the "nursery" to be monitored. He was born at 3:36pm and Erin didn't bother to come to check on me until the following morning. I didn't sleep that night because I was upset about the delivery, so when Erin finally did come to see me the next day I was exhausted and crying. She told me verbatim that I needed to "calm down and get it together." My experience with her was traumatizing.

Erin was recommended by one of our friends. She has been excellent and so very nice. She speaks Spanish and creates a safe space for our family. She’s empowering allowing my me to make the decisions with her as a consultant.

Erin had no interest in allowing me to make my own decisions throughout my prenatal care. When I chose to forego the glucose screening test she seamed very annoyed. Monitoring my blood glucose at home made sense to me instead. She told me my baby was large at one appointment then an ultrasound determined she was actually small. She was wrong a lot and very pushy. I would get anxiety before every appointment and changed providers a few days before my due date. I do not recommend her.

I felt completely dismissed by Erin. My visit was a total waste of time. She spent less than 5 minutes with me and seemed inconvenienced to have to answer my questions. I will not go back to her. Such a shame because I love this practice.
