Erin White, LPC

Two daughters saw Erin for several years. It was a toxic divorce situation. No doubt it was good for my children to have someone to talk to But did she help them, cognitively or behaviorally?Some counselors see you with the goal of helping you get better do that you just need a periodic check in. Some are happy to keep you where you are so that you always need help ,(i.e. always need to give them a check). She is the latter. I would say an enabler, not one who empowers.

Thank you Ms. White for all you have done for our family! Our daughter experienced a traumatic experience when she was 6 and she saw another counselor who was really focused on one kind of counseling that didn't seem to help. After months of no progress, we took her to see Erin and her approach was much better for her. She's now doing much better. Every so often she asks to go see Ms. Erin to talk through something she is dealing with and Erin always helps her feel better. I dnot know where she'd be now if she hadn't gotten the help she needed.

We had our child see Erin after our son was attacked by another boy....she billed us two years after we saw her...we were shocked to find a $900 bill in the mail. Which completely describes her practice..extremely disorganized and disjointed

Professional, knowledgeable, and great with my kid! Helped our family so much! Always has a full schedule so it can be hard to get an appointment.

VERY DISAPPONTED!! I had called Ms. White in mid June to see about an appointment for my teenage son. Left a message w/details about our needs. It's now mid July and I have yet to receive a return phone call. This is extremely disappointing to me because we had been to see her years ago w/our younger son who was being bullied. We had a good experience w/her then and thought she could help our older son. We moved on, but it was disappointing she couldn't return our phone call. Speaks volumes!
