I saw Ester Burns with my husband due to my deficits after suffering a stroke. During a visit my husband was trying to relate something he researched. She asked him, 'do you know what I do when someone tells me they did research? I stop listening!' I thought that was very unprofessional and rude. I also wanted to get genetic testing done in which she referred me to The Cancer Institute. They called and stated they only deal with cancer patients so this referral is misguided. No other referral was given after that, going on 6 months now and I'm still in limbo. Finally, when my husband needed a doctors note for jury duty stating that he is my primary caregiver, as I unfortunately require, she refused to do so, stating it was a violation of HIPAA and that he would have to get it from his own doctor. His doctor knows nothing about my condition and why would the court ask for something that is against the law? She is ill-informed. I will be looking for a much better provider than this!

Listened to all my concerns, very Knowledgeable, and respectful. All concerns were dealt with, and I would recommend her to all friends, and family. Very nice to deal with.
