I cannot recommend Dr. Felix highly enough. When I started therapy I honestly didn’t even know what I needed to work on, and I struggled with communicating my thoughts and feelings. Starting therapy felt intimidating, but her endless well of patience and compassion made me feel so supported and safe. Dr. Felix has an amazing ability to meet you where you are and take things at the pace that is right for you, using the tools and modalities appropriate for any given situation. She has a remarkable memory for details and is present and engaged in every session. As a member of the LGBTQ community, finding a therapist who was a knowledgeable ally was very important to me, and Dr. Felix was just that. I am very proud of the progress I made, the skills I gained, and the stronger and more confident version of myself I grew into under Dr. Felix’s guidance.

Let me start by saying that I rarely ever review anything. However, my exceptional experience with Dr. Felix has inspired me to do so on this occasion. Not only has Dr. Felix helped me achieve significant mental health goals, but she has also helped me feel supported and motivated throughout the journey of achieving these goals. I was a bit skeptical at first, since I had unfortunately had bad experiences with previous therapy experiences with other professionals. Dr. Felix helped me regain trust in myself and in the value of healing. Dr. Felix is an expert in her field that tailors her approach based on your individual needs. I did not feel pressured or stressed in any way and instead started to believe in myself and have made more progress than I thought possible. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Felix. If you are someone who is ready to focus on creating a personal healing journey, Dr. Felix is the best person you can find to help you achieve your goals.

Dr. Felix is an excellent therapist and I strongly recommend her. She helped me in many ways, teaching me a number of skills, helping me to understand how my history impacted my current thinking, emotions, relationships, and behavior, and setting the stage for making difficult but healing changes. She takes a collaborative approach which I appreciate. I found that she was extremely easy to talk to - I told her things that I have never told anyone. She always responded with caring and understanding. I never felt judged. Moreover, she has an uncanny ability to remember all of the details of things we have discussed. That made feel that she was really listening and that my story was important to her. I was impressed with the breadth of her skills, use of different treatments, and flexibility with respect to how to apply her broad knowledge to me. After having worked with her, I feel optimistic about my future.

Dr. Felix is a stellar psychologist who has helped me live more meaningfully and manage life's challenges effectively. She is a very astute listener and tailors every session to the patient’s needs. She has taught me skills from diverse domains like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), allowing me to compare and choose the techniques that best suite me. Beyond her expertise, she is also a very kind and understanding person, making it a pleasure to work with her. I would strongly recommend Dr. Felix to anybody seeking a psychologist.

I have learned so much from Dr Felix. She really listens to me and is very knowledgeable. She tailors my therapy sessions specifically to me and how I best learn. She has taught me many skills to help me to be able to cope during hard times. Although I have only been able to meet with her through Zoom I feel like we have a great therapist to patient relationship and I really trust her and what she has to say. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
