Dr. Fernando Esparza, PSY

I chose not to have my ex arrested for felony assault with bodily injury and demanded we go to couples therapy instead. I explained to Dr Esparza that I made the decision for our daughter’s best interests. Well, from the first of 3 sessions Dr Esparza flat out refused to talk about the abu sive behavior that destroyed our family. Every time it came up he changed the subject and even projected his own relationship problems onto us, explaining that he might soon break up with his gf if she wants to buy a bigger house than he wants. His point was that if we don’t have similar goals we would be wasting our time. My covert narcissist ex was fully enabled by his excuses, and just told him all kinds of lies to get his sympathy. I patiently waited for him to at least try to figure out what was happening. No. Dr Esparza had an unhealthy obsession with forcing us to repeat that we wanted to be together while refusing to discuss our problems. For thousands of dollars, he didn’t help at all.

I think I'm on the 12th or 13th ethical and legal complaint on him. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I recommended Dr. Esparza with complete confidence. I work with psychologists, many of them. Dr. Esparza is by far, the best one I've have the opportunity to talk to. As a patient, I can also say is the best Dr. I ever had.
