I scheduled an appointment to get the birth control implant Nexplanon inserted. I arrived 15 mins early and still waited an hour to be seen. Although she was a nice lady, I feel as if she did not know where to properly insert the implant, as I did various research about the procedure beforehand. I then asked if she had a pamphlet I could see for a reference. She did not have one, which is unsettling to me because there should be some kind of information reference available for patients.
