I saw Dr. Fenster several years ago for several sessions for depression. Unfortunately, there was no practical help at all. Dr. Fenster just had me talk and talk (as he sat behind a tall plant), with no therapy to speak of. I was hoping for cognitive behavioral therapy or some practical solutions. Also I repeatedly asked Dr. Fenster to give me receipts for the cash co-pays I was giving him (for tax purposes). He kept putting me off, saying his "assistant" would mail them to me. Finally I wrote him a letter asking for the several receipts (including a stamped envelope), and I received no reply. With no therapy from him, and not even responding to a simple request for patient receipts, I stopped seeing him. It was a total waste of several hundred dollars.

Dr. Fenster is a terrific psychologist. He has extensive knowledge and understanding of psychological issues and is an outstanding therapist.
