I credit Dr. Gersh with saving my marriage. Dr. Gersh was able to help my husband and I communicate without yelling and understand the complexities of our feelings. He taught us how to really listen to one another and it has made all the difference. I am forever grateful for his help. He was also willing to see me on my own when he knew I was having a horrible week - fit me in on a Friday - late! Thank you again Dr. Gersh!!!

My partner and I worked with Dr. Gersh with several months as we worked through broad stroke relationship problems that strained our day to day. Dr. Gersh was incredibly helpful in acting as a liason, guide and mentor. We decided to end working with Dr. Gersh earlier than anticipated only because we felt we have progressed so much more quickly thanks to Dr. Gersh.

My wife and I have worked with Gerry for a period of years and have found him to be a wonderful psychoanalyst. He takes time to understand the relationship and then offers insight and advice and practical solutions. He is a great listener and I truly value his counsel. I would whole heartedly recommend Gerry for anyone looking fr a therapist.

Gerry is awesome!!!! I have been going to him for over 6 years - on my own and also in couples sessions with my husband. He has given us so much amazing insight and advice. He is a psychoanalyst, which I appreciate very much, as does my husband, which helps understand why we behave and do the things we do and therefore, break negative behaviors and thinking patterns. I have had so many “ah ha!” moments during my sessions over the years with Gerry! He is an amazing listener - Which you would think would be a necessary trait in the therapists but I’ve been to other therapists that just do not listen and or give helpful insight as Gerry does and guides you along. He can be tough in his analysis and is very honest which I greatly appreciate. I usually leave my sessions feeling so much “lighter” and more clear. I can honestly say he has gotten me through so many tough times and helped my husband and I work on our marriage issues tremendously! I’m so glad we found Gerry and recommend highly!

Recently completed several months of therapy with Dr. Gersh for anxiety and depression resulting from a prolonged high-stress situation at work. Dr. Gersh effectively helped me manage my stress, anxiety, and depression during this time as well as helping me formulate insights regarding team dynamics at work I expect will help me in the future. Would recommend.

I recently completed one year of therapy with Gerald — the most emotionally productive period of my life. His keen insight, gentle demeanor, and thoughtful feedback helped me navigate through a crisis in my relationship, which was ultimately salvaged, strengthened, and deepened. But more essentially, he led me to identify and address deeper, more fundamental issues that had been holding me back. A careful listener, Gerald engages, interacts, and—crucially—challenges. Highly recommended.

I recently lost a loved one, and I sought help to process my feelings and decide how to rebuild and go forward with my life. Gerald Gersh has the following qualities that I look for in a therapist: - intelligence - kindness - nurturing -shares insights and suggestions and also respects my judgement - allows me to digress and meander at times, but always brings me back to true issue. - he is not easily fooled - goes out of his way to be available even at last minute request

We went once, a consultation to consider him as a couple's therapist. He didn't tell us until the end of the session that he would see us only on Thursday or Friday nights. Had we known, we would not have gone at all. The first indication that something was off was being kept waiting for 20 minutes and then told the previous client didn't raise an important issue until the end. This was for a 9 pm appointment. There were several other disturbing things that signaled we should find someone else.
