Dr. Gina Zuccolo, PSY.D

I really do not like leaving reviews, but feel one must write something. I had to really think about how I was going to explain my time with this doctor. She is nice. She runs late. She has plenty of information to give. She likes to over analyze. While seeing her, found there was not enough time between visits to compress information she wanted me to learn. I found she was against this idea of talking over, over about what happened. A couple of times was good enough. After seeing her, I found this strategy to be most helpful. I do not know how to explain other than this... there was a man in the waiting room who's cloud filled the room because he would talk for some reason only to me about how he wanted or how he had just tried or all of these really bad things. Every time, I saw him or he talked to me. I would try to explain to her some of what he would say or how bad.... Because was so overwhelmed would miss step in explanation/ put me in bad spot.

I truly think Dr. Z is a great listener and allowed me to make huge improvements to my life and relationships. The strategies and helpful tools she gave me is really quite amazing. It took a while to implement because of my stubbornness, but found to be very helpful. If she is late it is due to her giving time to someone who might me in a tough spot that day. She is quite good.
