Gia totally misdiagnosed my leg issue. I went in suspecting I had torn my hamstring with possible sciatic issue. She barely took any time with me, didn't look at my leg and ordered an MRI for my hip! After an extremely painful MRI (I get shooting pain in my thigh when I straighten my leg), Invision deduced I had hip issues. When I talked to Gia, she mentioned I may need a hip replacement. She referred me to an orthopedist. When I finally saw him, he said the hip issues from the MRI were minor and would not cause the pain I have been experiencing. I finally went to a chiropractor who did spend a lot of time listening and examining. Conclusion? Pulled hamstring, the very thing I said to Gia when I first saw her. She has no empathy, and doesn't listen to the patient. You are just a case number with her. I will not see her again and will complain to the M.D.

I have been seeing Giovanna Salerno for over 12 years now and my experience with her has been very professional and patient caring. I had an excellent experience with Gia this afternoon. We had spoken previously about a spot on my arm so she was familiar with the situation. She reviewed all my conditions and medications and then carefully explained what she was going to do and how she would do it. She then made sure that I understoon what my follow-up care would be like and when I could expect results. The whole procedure took about 15 minutes and I left feeling confident that I had received great care.

She looks at my files before my appointment is update to date on my overall health issues. She has always been excellent is recommending treatment plans for me. I really enjoy having her as my provider. She takes the time to explain new things to me and always answers any question or concerns that I might have. I will gladly keep her as my provider.

Gia has treated me several times and has always been excellent in her treatment and diagnosis. She has great bedside manners and is always friendly.

Very impersonal. Lacks bedside manner. Seems to spend as little time as possible with you. My last annual exam, she was in the room for less than 10 minutes.

I think she has little bedside manner. Very professional but lacks empathy. Gia has run tests on me and never given the results back? She has little compassion for my ailments and seems to look right through me. Getting my prescriptions filled takes up to a week sometimes. This office is very busy.

I have been going to Gia Salerno for about 3 years now, she was a little cold at first, but she has really warmed up in the past year. She always takes time to listen to what is going on and takes my health very seriously. I never enjoy going to the doctor, however she has made it as pleasant as it can be.

You get the feeling that she is too busy to be bothered with you. When I had, potential, heart issues, she never seemed to take it, or me, seriously - she just sent me off for tests and then never followed up.
