Dr. Bowman is very easy to talk to. He has a precise ability to help me look at my thoughts, which enables me to look at how I can make positive changes and move on from where I am stuck. He is truly helping me through my healing process.

I am in counseling with Dr. Glen Bowman for chronic depression, anxiety and stress. He listens to me and is able to direct me to think about my issues and learn ways to best cope with them and improve my quality of life. He is a thoughtful listener and is willing to provide resources and information such as books and activities so I can deal with the difficulties I face. I would strongly recommend him.

I do not recommend Dr. Bowman. He did not make an effort to remember/make note of background information between visits, so time was wasted answering repeat questions, which also revealed his disinterest in getting to know me. I didn’t get the feeling that he had a plan of any kind. He seemed more concerned with coming off as the relaxed and cool therapist than with offering thoughtful commentary or practical tools.

Worst counselor I've EVER seen. Avoid at all costs. He thinks he's brilliant, but has zero methodology or professionalism. He didn't guide me through the session, but rather told me how I feel despite the fact that he was way off base, then he got angry because I wouldn't agree with him that I felt "this" way (seriously, what counselor gets angry at a crying client on the first visit???). He doesn't have experience or empathy, and reeks of disdain for clients who don't agree with his outlook.

I really like Dr. Bowman! He is patient, has empathy, and is not pushy at all. He waits for you to talk about things on your timeline, not his. His responses and questions have helped me gain perspective and a better understanding of my issues. Dr. Bowman helped me deal effectively with a number of concerns helping, and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Bowman interrupted, insulted, and belittled me repeatedly over the course of my few visits. I always felt worse after going to see him. I just don't understand how a person with so little empathy can be a counselor.
