I saw Grace for a drainage procedure on a cyst that turned into an abscess, a precursor to a larger procedure that was scheduled to occur 4 days later. My abscess clearly needed drainage, but she dismissed my condition and sent me home without treatment. Her bedside manner (which was terse and standoffish at best, including her arguing with the team scheduled to operate on me a few days later over the phone) made it clear she had no real concern for my situation.The day before my larger procedure, another provider confirmed she should have drained it immediately. Because she didn’t, I face a longer recovery and additional appointments and money wasted. Her poor judgment and total lack of care or concern led to unnecessary medical intervention and suffering. While I understand that working in medicine is a calling and quite difficult, I would never recommend her for anyone needing competent or compassionate medical care.
