After researching the recommended course of treatment for my son I found that Dr. Charboneau was using 'sham' treatments that are not recommended by the National Institutes for Health. They may not harm my son but they are not worth our time and money. We also had to attend 5 sessions before getting a diagnosis. I don't think his Center of Excellence rating is warranted.

My son was diagnosed with Level 1 Autism, Atypical ADHD and ODD when he was 5 yrs old. We first saw Dr. Charboneau in Feb of 2016 he performed a QEEG and we did a full day of testing. Dr. Charboneau came off rude and I was a little put off by his behavior towards us, however, he was the first doctor to listen to us and move forward with testing. He was rough with my son and talked very demeaning to us. After multiple times of being treated horrible we will never go back!!!

Thanks to QEEG brain mapping, Dr. Charboneau was able to find out why my grandson was spacing out and had a hard time focusing. Biofeedback was started and he has improved greatly. His anxiety is less too. Dr. Charboneau found answers that no other counselor or neurologist could find so there has been a improvement after years of no real help. Dr. Charboneau is a talker so appointments often start late but it's worth it. He also takes Medicaid/Molina Insurance and is fantastic with kids.
