I am so thankful for Active Family Wellness. I keep thinking, 'Where have you been all my life?' My daughter came first because of her pregnancy, and she kept telling me to get an assessment. I always thought it was normal to have aches and pains because I was getting older. However, I was shocked at how much pain I had tolerated under that misconception. After my first adjustment, it felt as if something had been released from my back. I keep telling Dr. Kevin, “It’s crazy” how much of a difference each adjustment makes for me. I’ve only had a handful of them, and it has truly been life-changing. I can swim better now, and I actually enjoy my weekly housework. I’m more productive at work, whether I’m sitting all day or on the move; it makes no difference because my body feels revitalized. I love this place. I had never been to a chiropractor before but my low back started hurting even though I'm in my 20's and haven't been in any sort of accident (probably from sitting at a desk all day...) The initial evaluation was super holistic. I learned that although I came in for my low back pain, the nervous system and spine are connected to a ton of other issues too (ex. the nerves in the low back are connected to the digestive system and I have IBS, a digestion issue!) I've been going three times a week for three weeks and I clearly feel a different in my low back (before I couldn't do hip dips because the twisting motion hurt too much but now I can no problem!) Dr. Lee is clearly talented and knows what he's doing--plus he's really passionate about it. This is all clinical stuff but honestly what might be just as important is how WONDERFUL the staff is. Everyone is so sweet and genuinely cares about your health.

Dr. Lee is a well-knowledged chiropractor in the area. They have so many techniques to treat the patients & have so much knowledge about chiropractic care techniques.

I came to health and family wellness at the beginning of 2021 for lower back pain and have been here for 3 months. I have seen a big impact on my sleep and energy where I can sleep more comfortably and be able to maintain lots of energy throughout the day. As a firefighter my body is always jacked up in some way shape or form, but Dr Lee always finds a way to put me back into alignment and balance. I always feel much better right after and for the coming days for shift work.

I’ve been going to Active Family Wellness (ACF)for a while now. When I first started going to AFW, I had my doubts because I’ve been to chiropractors in the past and it wasn’t what I thought it’d be. I never knew how my adjustments were working or how bad my spine was when I was receiving adjustments in other chiropractic offices. There was nothing tangible to look at in regards to my spine. However, from the day I started getting adjustments at ACF, I seen where my issues were and I was told exactly what the process consisted of. I started out as a “D” and am now a “B”, in the grading scale. I never thought I’d see I’d see the day where the pain is almost completely gone. Dr. Lee goes over all the things that cause a subluxation and how to fix it. Not only that, ACF makes you feel like family. You walk in, Claudia and Gaby greet me with immense enthusiasm and happiness. Hands down, the best in customer service I’ve experienced in a doctors office!

Dr. Lee is an amazing chiropractor. He was very thorough and explained my plan for recovery and overall better health. Since this was my first time at a chiro, I needed the detailed level of explanation he provided. His staff is amazing as well!

Dr. Lee is the best and the staff is awesome! I got into a cycling accident and went to see Dr. Lee. I felt much better the next day. I was able to do a recovery spin the next day without any pain. After adjustments I feel more relaxed and at ease. Even my sleep and digestion have improved since being cared for at Active Family Wellness. I didn’t think I would recover so quickly after my accident, but the team at AFW told me the body can heal itself and being healthy is normal. They were correct, I feel my rides are so much better now. I went in with an injury and are now better than ever. This is THE best team and place to go for your sport injury needs!

Best chiropractor in the DMV area, hands down. I had various physical ailments from back pain, knee pain, and headaches from years of basketball and serving in the military. Dr. Lee was very professional and really cared for my mental and well-being! He educated me a lot about the biomechanics of how the body works and what happens to the body when it comes to subluxations and adjustments. He made sure that I was comfortable before he adjusted me and will occasionally quiz me on wellness questions so I can have awareness of my health!
