Greta Ortega

I've been going to a psych provider for the past 6 years for anxiety and Greta is by far the best provider I've ever seen. She is very intelligent and explains conditions/prescriptions into great detail. I would recommend her to anyone!

I would not recommend Greta to anyone looking for a good mental health care provider. From my very first visit she had me outsourcing extra services (for example GeneSight) and assured me it was covered by insurance - this caused a lot of back and forth with my insurance to actually get the service covered. She is clearly inexperienced and lacks attention to detail and empathy. Conversations felt like I was speaking to a brick wall. She types a lot and prints more google searches than she does give solid backed information. I saw Greta for about 6 months and my last two appointments were degrading experiences.

Greta is very thorough and works hard to provide excellent care. She was detailed and very professional.

Find someone with more experience. I saw Greta a few times. I found out she was a new graduate but I didnt worry about her lack of experience and wanted to give her a chance. I was desperate for refills and she had open appointments. Now I know why she is never booked. She lacks empathy. She is rigid. She messed with my medications immediately. I asked her why she didn't want to prescribe me medications Ive been taking for 5 years, she said she didnt think they were the best choice. She changed my medications and within a week I ended up in the hospital. RUN from her and this place, the staff are also mean. go somewhere else.
