Dr. Hannah Yecheskel, OD

I saw Dr. Yecheskel from 2016 through 2021. She was a good doctor for me for many years. The last annual visit I had went south. I called her office to ask for next steps on correcting an issue with glasses I just received from them. They asked me to come in to have them checked out. After 3 visits to her office to correct this, I was surprised there was no recommendation from her team to see the doctor again to review my Rx. Once I finally got in to see the doctor again, she asked her staff to leave the room while she proceeded to tell me that my case was costing her money at this point and accusing me of taking advantage of her. It was so unsettling. I left her office in tears with no resolution to my issue. She was cold, condescending, and unprofessional. The first step should have been for me to come back in to see the doctor. Her team had no training for resolution and she took that out on me. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dr. Yecheskel or her team.

This is the most fantastic Doctor's office. I visited Dr. Yecheskel's office because my eyes were itching and burning. Not only did I receive high quality medical care, my anxiety surrounding my condition was of utmost importance to Dr. Yecheskel and her the staff. Every time I was in her office, I was asked by the staff how I was doing, if I wanted some water, or if I needed anything else. During my appointment, Dr. Yecheskel explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it so that I felt like an active and informed participant in my own health care. Because of her attention to detail and kind communication style, Dr. Yecheskel has demonstrated herself to be a trustworthy, highly competent, and friendly physician who not only treats symptoms, but also cares for the whole patient. Thank you Dr. Yecheskel!

I usually don't leave reviews but had such a positive experience I need to share. I had been to John Hopkins Wilmer Eye Clinic, another ophthalmologist that is highly rated that I use to screen for glaucoma, but it wasn't until I saw Dr. Hannah that I was diagnosed correctly. I was experiencing redness in the eye, tearing, and eye pain. Others just offered lubricant and allergy eye drops. Dr. Hannah said the lubricant eye drops were actually making my symptoms worse, she offered treatments that made my eye pain go away. It was a real quality of life issue. I felt the others really were not listening to my symptoms or minimizing them. Dr. Hannah really listens and helps educate you. Can't say enough good things about her practice.

Dr. Hannah gave me a thorough exam and prescribed 2 kinds of drops to use for 2 weeks. When I returned she gave me another vision test and new prescription. My symptoms are resolved!

Exceptional Doctor and staff!!!

I went to see Dr. Yecheskel with my wife and our one year old, and from the moment we walked in it was just A+ service! The staff was friendly and very accommodating to my baby girl who just started walking so wanted to go EVERYWHERE and touch EVERYTHING. Dr. Y is amazing with people, very thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. She was so good infact that I let her know that she was the first optometrist I'd ever met who truly knew what she was doing. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Dr. Yecheskel is a very knowledgeable Optometrist. I found her through another eye doctor’s office who I took my mom to originally. I was so impressed with how she handled my mom’s eye care with compassion and with respect that when I needed my eyes checked and new glasses I tracked her down. She had opened a new office in Rockville Md. Her staff is very customer service friendly too, I am totally satisfied with her and I would recommend her to anyone who needs eye care. Thanks. …Sharon

Dr. Yecheskel takes time with her patients. She is the most knowledgeable eye doctor I know. I trust her with my vision problems; and she is always right about my care.

Dr. Yecheskel went above and beyond when seeing my son, and I would highly recommend her. She had a lengthy conversation with me on the phone before we were officially patients, listened to my concerns about my son, got us an appt just a couple days away, and took her time examining him and talking to me. She helped us get the most insurance coverage and even made me a copy of an eye tracking workbook for my daughter when I expressed some concerns I saw when she was reading. She really cares.

Dr. Yecheskel is an outstanding eye doctor! My family has been seeing Dr.Yecheskel for over 10 years. I trust her completely and couldn't be happier with the service provided at All Eyes on Rockville.

I have a strong astigmatism which may be one reason I haven't had an accurate prescription for many years. Dr Yecheskel understood my problem clearly and took a lot of time making sure she did everything possible to make sure my vision is good. It is like getting a fresh start on life. I can't say enough about Dr Y's expertise, professionalism, patience, and perseverance.
