I really really like Heather. She's incredibly smart and never makes me feel silly for asking questions. I love that she's straight to the point because she wants to HELP me. She'll ask clarifying questions and always asks if there's anything else she can do for me. She's very punctual and never keeps me waiting. I feel very comfortable and safe seeing her for any reason. She's a true professional who does a fantastic job. I can't imagine seeing anyone else for all of the junk I have going on(: Five stars!

I have never been listened to like with Heather. She is smart, personable and TRULY cares. She is the best doctor I’ve ever seen and I would never go anywhere else. She manages my depression, hormones, weight loss, annuals, knee pain, sore throats and will manage anything else that comes up with me. I trust her 110%.

I had a really bad experience with this doctor. She was not personable at all, I did not feel listened to. She was insinuating a diagnosis that completely contradicted my answers to her questions. I left feeling confused and upset. I also felt super rushed and like she didn’t care to hear what I had to say.

Wow. Our family seriously CAN NOT say enough good about our experiences here!! My husband and I were commenting as we left an appointment recently that we always ALWAYS feel happy, loved, cared about, and informed. Whether we are being seen by the amazing nurse practitioners, Heather Leishman & Nicole Wigton, or being seen by their nurses, Amberly or Ambria, we feel safe in their care. (Even if we are being seen for serious situations, not just the common cold or strep throat.) Please consider visiting this pairing at Alpine Family Medicine. You will NOT be disappointed!

I'm a little confused about the patients who claim she is rushed. I am a little picky when it comes to the time someone spends with me, I can tell you that I have NEVER felt rushed with Heather. In fact, that's one of the things I love about her. She explains things to me in detail ... and is by far my favorite health care provider I've seen in 3 decades. I highly recommend Heather.

I initially paid $50 for an appointment that they were able to schedule for me. I was having severe ear pains during my pregnancy so much that it was waking me up to an excruciating pop several times a night. I came in because I had reached a breaking point. After being told I'd be seen in 20 minutes, and waiting for an hour and 30 minutes I was finally seen. Then my appointment was all of 5 minutes. Just enough time for them to check my ears and say nothing was wrong. I was told it was nothing and sent home. Come 4 months later, and I'm receiving collections calls about $85 that was needed towards my bill after insurance paid $45 more. So my hour and half wait for "NOTHING" was $180. The fact that my insurance didn't pay more kind of eludes to the BS that this bill is. I'm floored and won't be going back. I can't imagine what the bill would have been for "SOMETHING".

Heather does not take the time to listen to your problems, does not order the right blood tests, and is the reason I no longer will go to her specific doctor's office because the actual doctor's are never available and she's not helpful. Don't bother, you'll be disappointed.

Her bed side manner is terrible. Had no interest in understanding your past medical history. Will never go back. See a real doctor not a PA
