Helen is great with physical therapy. She prepared a plan just for me, introduced many different stretching exercises, walking and riding a bike type machine. She was very clear how to do each one and how it would help me. I have continued forward and feel so much better. Thank you, Helen, for all your help. You are wonderful.

Helen helped me get out of a wheelchair and walk only with a walker. I am now working on balance and walking solo.

Helen worked with my father for six weeks of inpatient rehab. Helen welcomed my presence during therapy sessions, and kindly arranged her schedule to accommodate my visits. Helen was glad to answer my many questions and was open to feedback. Helen is masterful at motivating and stimulating enthusiasm for doing exercises. She was encouraging and supportive of my dad, who has dementia, always treating him with patience and respect. She anticipated his needs and helped him to be successful by building on his strengths. On the day of an outside appointment, Helen scheduled Dad’s therapy session prior to the outing to warm up his muscles to facilitate transfers. Without being asked, she observed our transfer into the car so she might suggest ways in which we could be most effective. When Dad was ready for discharge, Helen spent extra time with me, suggesting ways we could help him to maintain his strength after he went home. I am very grateful to Helen for both her knowledge and compassion.

Helen pushed, guided, supported and encouraged me through the extremely difficult first few weeks following knee replacement surgery. Her sense of calm, honesty and good humor helped me more than I can say, whenever I felt discouraged or unsteady. I would want anyone I know who may be in need of PT to have the good fortune to work with Helen.

Wow was I lucky to have Helen as my PT. I have been able to return to great functionality due to her kind,firm,supportive,encouragement and a person you can communicate with. There were tears from me (she helped bring them on) and she was there to wipe them away when I became successful . We talked, shared, laughed and developed a wonderful relationship.
