Hella Douglas needs to listen patiently before jumping to conclusions. I found her style to be abrupt and dismissive. She rolls her eyes if you either don't agree or need more explanation about your healthcare plan. She was not a good fit for me.

Hella is the least caring mental health provider I have ever experienced. She is in it for the money, not to help you. She said to me after our first visit that she didn’t want to wait for my HSA account because “she had bills to pay too”. So unprofessional. I was there to get help, and all she could think about was getting her check. I then saw the money be taken out of my account, and she still has her billers calling me despite the fact that I’ve sent them emails with screenshots. She will also dangerously change your medications. STAY AWAY. This lady should not be practicing medicine.

Hella may be a good fit for some but she ranged from frustrating to downright dangerous for me. It was literally impossible to reach her through her impassable wall of nurses and Her notes often didn't accurately reflect what we had discussed so the nurses would treat me as though I was crazy when I called about issues. MULTIPLE times I went to pick up prescriptions to find out she had dangerously dropped my dosage without telling me (high doses of an ssri I have been on for many years). Be wary

Hella is always prescribing the newest, most expensive drugs and gets mad if you don't want or can't afford them..She switched up 3 meds at once, I had a bad reaction to 1, she never returned msgs. so I had to call my PCP for advice. Hella later told me she's 2 busy to return phone calls, wanted me to take more expensive Rxs I did not need according to the PNP I see now. In short, irresponsible, ignores patient, unprofessional.
