I went in to have a dog bite assessed to make sure I was not at risk of infection. She asked if I wanted a tetanus shot and when I began to respond she cut me off mid sentence and asked 'then why are you here?' I said I was there to make sure I wasn't at risk of infection and that if she didn't think that a tetanus shot was necessary I would get it at a different time. She treated me like I believed I had or would get tetanus for no reason. I was there for her to look at the bite and assess if I was at risk of an infection and it so go from there. Best case scenario for me was for her to look at it and say that it's fine and send me on my way. She never even asked to look at the wound. I had to insist that she take a look at it. There was too much in the interaction to include here but she short is I went in to have an injury assessed and she treated me like a hypochondriac when she could have simply assessed my wound and sent me on my way. That's all I wanted.
