Went in for an overdue cervical cancer screening(pap) and exam. After a month of not receiving the results, I called the office only to find out that the pap was never done. From my chart, Korica knew I was overdue for one(she commented on it), but did not inform me at all during the exam that she was skipping the pap and the reasons for that. If a patient makes an appt for an overdue cervical cancer screening and is not given one, wouldn't it be in the best interest of the patient and the responsibility of the provider to thoroughly explain why the screening was not done? Instead, she told me to come back on another visit to discuss HRT, never saying anything about the pap. I feel that Korica doesn't care about the patient's health, but rather pushes her own agenda. So now I have to expense more time and money for another visit to get the screening done.
