start hearing checks early with Dr Tang!
I have seen Dr Tang twice so far, with the frequency is 1 visit every 2 years. I started when I was 51. UCLA actually recommends testing every year as part of preventive care, but for me Dr Tang said come back in 2 years, probably because now my hearing is absolutely fine. I trust Dr Tang to catch if anything goes wrong down the line and recommend timely interventions. Be vigilant: untreated hearing loss is associated with cognitive decline.The hearing test with Dr Tang is actually a fun procedure, and she makes you super comfortable. I look forward to coming back.Scheduling-wise, allow several months of waiting for an appointment.

Most pleasant experience!
I had two appointments in Mountain View at the Audiology department. Dr. Tang is one of the most caring, personable, compassionate doctors I have ever experienced at Sutter. She took time to explain everything allowing me to make the most educated informed decision that I could make. I am so happy I found her. If there were 10 stars, she's get all of them from me!
