I felt a great sense of relief knowing that the prescription would serve me well.

Dr Hartz was able to diagnose and resolve the problem and accurately prescribe my lenses where others had failed. I had cataract surgery years ago and my bifocal lens that were implanted nolonger provided me with 20-20 vision. This was compounded by glaucoma. However, Dr. Hartz keeps up-to-date in his field and understood the complexity and was able to resolve my problem and fit me with a pair of glasses that worked, unlike other places I had been to.

This was the most comprehensive eye exam I have had in four decades. Dr. Hartz is especially concerned with making certain his patients's contact lenses are fitted precisely so that their eye health remains intact and their vision is optimal. His staff also goes out of their way to be professional and courteous. The price for the examination is very reasonable for the level of thoroughness and attention. Thank you!!!

Sincerely, I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor. The vision test was ok, but Dr. Hartz wasn’t very nice and even didn’t try to be nice. I felt like he was really tired of his job, didn’t like his secretary, was pretty moody. But that was nothing considering the fact that after a while he called me and that my insurance company wouldn’t pay for the vision check-up and wanted me to pay. I explained that it happened for the first time ever since I have good insurance and never had problems with it, but I was willing to check it with my insurance. I checked and everything was just fine, and the insurance said it was somebody from his side that didn’t file the claim right. When I called Dr. Hartz, he kept disagreeing and arguing that he had 40 years of experience and I was nobody and just didn’t want to pay the visit. I checked with the insurance again. Called him back. He didn’t take it, didn’t want to listen to me, and afterward kept leaving me voice messages about how b

I have been seen by Dr. Hartz for over 15 years. In that time, he has always been courteous, willing to answer any and all questions/concerns regarding my eyes and accurate in his assessments. With his up to date diagnostic tools, he was able to detect my need for cornea transplants early and kept me informed as to potential issues down the road.

I saw Dr Hartz for the first time last week . Best eye exam I ever had over a Span of 25 years . Spends a really good amount of time with you to make sure you get the best Rx and understood all of my concerns.

Dr.Hartz is wonderful.Even though I don’t purchase the frames at For Eyes Dr.Hartz takes a long time to make sure that all my problems are addressed I am very pleased

Dr. Hartz is very personable and has the best diagnostic equipment I've ever seen. This means an efficient appointment and no dilation of pupils to blind me the rest of the day.

Dr. Hartz did not once all me about my vision, any current issues, etc. The exam itself was fine, but in am having some issues and was so taken back by his almost egomaniacal chatter that I completely forgot to mention my concerns. Not that I believe he would have listened anyway. Really disappointed. I will not be going back for my next exam.

I've been seeing Dr. Hartz for 5 or 6 years, I've been very pleased with the care provided. While we no longer get our glasses at For Eyes due to insurance reasons, I happily remain a client with Dr. Hartz.

Dr. Hartz is Very good, however his desk staff really needs to see if the insurance you have, they will accept PRIOR TO VISIT, NOT AFTER. BEWARE

Dr. Hartz is by far the best Optometrist I've ever encountered, and over the years I've seen a total of five! He is incredibly well-versed in his field, and takes the time and effort required to properly explain things to his patients. The script he provided gave me incredible vision, which I had not had for many years prior to seeing him! I can't thank Dr. Hartz enough!

Took time to explain what he was doing in more detail than most. Exam was thorough but quick. I recommend this practice.
