Ilka Moreno, CNP

I scheduled an appointment in regards to gallbladder symptoms and was scheduled with Ilka Moreno, NP. When I went for my scheduled appointment, Ms. Moreno came into the room and asked me different questions in regards to how I was feeling, however she did not physically exam me and that made me feel like she was not concerned about my symptoms and issued a prescription for pantopraxole, in which my insurance declined covering for the dosage Ms. Moreno prescribed. I felt like Ms. Moreno discounted my symptoms and pushed this medicine instead. Ms. Moreno scheduled me for a follow-up appointment almost 3 months after my initial visit. Needless to say I landed in the ER approximately 2-3 weeks after my visit. I felt gipped in having to pay a co-pay of $55 to "see" a NP instead of a Dr due to the NP not taking my symptoms seriously. I will be visiting with a real Dr in the future instead of this NP.
