Ivonne Johnson, APRN

Tested positive for COVID on 8/31/2022 (Wednesday). Called this office after hours. Recording said; someone will call you back. Someone called back and told me to take ibuprofen, rest, and call your PCP the next day. Next day (Thursday) called this office 6 times; left messages, never received a call back. The following day (Friday); left more messages, never received a call back. The following week (Tuesday 9/6/2022); I called back again, finally received a call back. They were unable to connect me with a doctor, and couldn’t explain why I was never contacted for previous calls. They did say that they never work on weekends, but couldn’t explain why they never called me back during the week. I have chosen a new PCP. I like Ivonne, but her office staff and office policies are not sufficient to deal with anything beyond scheduling a wellness visit.

I was recently scheduled in with NP Johnson. She is not my regular provider. It was a tele-health appointment. She was patronizing and condescending, and continually turned around to see what was going on behind her. She did not take care of my prescriptions as stated, and then altered the clinical notes in the patient portal days after my visit. I will not ever agree to see her again, the care I received was substandard and disjointed.

In response to my recent visit with NP Johnson. As a new patient who has not had consistent medical care due to lack of insurance and living with a chronic disease that needs regular monitoring and follow up I am very disappointed at the lack of urgency and concern that this woman displayed to me during my appointment. The main reason I went see a provider was because I needed a referral for a specialist and thought it wise to have labs ordered so that when I finally did see the specialist.
