Iwona Pedatella, PA-C

I have been a patient for 20+ years and have never felt so disrupted in my life by a physician’s office. Myself and my family have referred 20+ families to this office and until this is resolved, I will not be back. If you go to this office, please ensure you see Dr. Abeles only and not Iwona, the PA as she will lie to you. On my last visit, Iwona wanted to pop a few things on my face. I asked if this was covered by insurance and she said, “As long as you do not have GHI, then it is covered.” I then approved her proceeding due to the coverage. A few weeks later I get a bill for $198.02. $60 is the co-pay which I offered to pay. The remainder is the insurance not paying when she said it was covered. I called the office and spoke to Eric who could be the rudest employee I have ever encountered, and he finally ended up saying if you ever want to come back to this office, I need to pay the bill and hung up. Three days after my phone call with Eric, I receive a letter recapping our call.

I agree with Iwonaisterrible in NJ. My two visits with Iwona were horrible. She is condescending and rude and she doesn't listen to the patient. Will never go back to that office as long as she's there. Do not recommend her or this office as long as she's there.

I highly recommend Iwona and never found her to be anything but pleasant, efficient and caring. I've been going to her for years and she's very good at what she does. We have a nice chat while she tends to my issues and I have never had a problem.

Iwona makes me want to never come back to Dr. Abeles's office. She is consistently rude and impatient and routinely makes snide remarks about patients's conditions and acts condescendingly. I would absolutely not recommend visiting her. After several visits , I have decided I will either demand to see the doctor or never come back to the office.
