Dr. Jack Litman, PHD

I was referred to Dr. Litman. I have been with him about 7 years. I was suffering from severe PTS. Dr. Litman put me on a path for wellness. I was in a head on collision. It affected my eye site, I had surgery on left shoulder, suffered from brain injury that put me into dementia, my fear of driving caused me to not drive for a year. I had gotten fearful and I had horrible nightmares. I would think I was awake and I would think a wolf was looking at me in the face. He would be snarling at me with his mouth open exposing me to his fanged teeth and I knew he was going to hurt me. Dr. Litman gave me hope. I saw him every week. He talked to me like a friend. I felt relaxed and not pressured. Eventually I exposed to him what I was really going thru. He helped me work out all my problems having to do with accident and also my years of raising a family. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. Litman.

If Jack makes a joke be sure to laugh. Things go better that way.

Insightful

We were looking for someone than specialized in addiction and trauma for women. We have had nothing but positive results.

He doesn't deal with couples' significant others. He doesn't even try to get a wholistic picture, not bothering to get the other partner's input, just the male side. He is a male oriented counselor, concentrating on testosterone over estrogen.
