Jackie Armijo, FNP

Nurse practitioner Jackie Armijo clearly decided to go into the medical field while struggling to hide that she detests the process of helping and interacting with patients. She couldn't even be bothered to look at me when entering the examination room. She coldly took notes, asking only baseline clarifying questions, despite letting her know I had been in the worst pain of my life for two weeks. She offered no advice or treatment for the pain I was currently in except to take simethicone, which I told her I'd taken already. She ordered a endoscopy and sent me on my way, which caused me to get pretty emotional when I realized I wouldn't be getting any type of relief. I asked the assistant who took us to the room and she flagged down Mrs Armijo, who looked confused, but prescribed me anti-nausea medication at my request. Ms. Armijo really reseached my condition, and helped me to get a diagnosis that really saved my life. She was thorough, very communicative, caring, kind and profesional. I cannot explain what a wonderful practioner she is, and I highly reccomend her.

Overrated. Spent most of her time staring at laptop, while peppering me with questions and typing. Very little personalization. Can’t stand this type of medical worker. The assistant had much better bedside manner.

I live in lake havasu, az and got authorization from the va to south hills medical group. i was reluctant about driving to henderson, nv but after meeting jackie i was totally impressed with her. I have since made this trip 3 times and every visit rated a 5 star review.

Armijo was the worst APRN I have ever seen! I came for a second opinion regarding restrictions after my pancreatitis surgery and she treated me like I was stupid. She told me that she doesn't know why I came and that I need to go see my primary doctor. I asked her questions about the procedure that was done and she responded with "I am not a surgeon", with a very rude tone. She seemed very bothered by my visit. I asked her about dietary restrictions and she said there are none. She didn't have any advice for me! I could not believe her attitude! After this visit, I went to my car and cried... She made me feel like such an idiot, she also made me feel just helpless. This advanced practice registered nurse does not care about her patients! She should not be working in the medical field.

What a fantastic person/doctor. Her bed side manor is the best I have seen in a long time! Absolutely love this doctor and couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. She truly does care about you!!!

The worst experience ever. Appointment at 3pm. Get there at 2:20pm and at 4pm I'm still in a room listening to two people in an office talk business. I start to walk out of the room and there's more than six employees just sitting around including two Doctors.. I get to the front counter and request my copay back. The girls up front giggling and laughing like there at a park. So sad that places like this are open for business with no regard for people peoples health or time for that matter. Sham
