There aren’t enough allowed characters on this board to write my story. This doctor is TERRIBLE at facilitating peace between divorced homes. She does not recognize a single sign of parental alienation; at least not in my case. I share custody (rather used to) with an extreme narcissist who won’t co-parent, and despite a court-ordered equal custody agreement, Dr. Starritt allowed alienation. She allowed my Ex-husband to bring my daughter in without my knowledge, not during a regular session, and send an email at 14 stating that she wanted more time with her father, after years of begging to not see him. Dr. Starritt wrote it off as “teen issues,” but it was the first step to alienating me from her life. I was blocked, the custody agreement ignored, and my daughter was rewarded with a car at 14, for leaving. PLEASE BEWARE of this doctor if you are in a similar situation! I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and haven’t seen my only child in almost 3 years.
