Cannot be bothered
Jacob Ham is a leader in child trauma research, and I have great respect for what he had accomplished. But in his actual private practice, will not lift a finger for the child trauma survivors depending on him for care. His real goal is to use them to further line his pockets and advance his career and fame.I was number 60 on his wait-list, and asked just once for an organization or professional to see as I waited. He replied that he does not know of a single professional or organization that I could go to for interim services. He had no network to ask. This is astonishing, as he is a leader and pioneer in the field. I don't buy this for a minute.More likely, he didn't care to assist me because this act of helping me wouldn't advance his celebrity or further fleece his pockets. Nevermind my mental health as a future client of his. If you want a practitioner that truly cares about your well-being, go elsewhere.
