Jaime Nass, NP

I had a very frustrating and violating experience with Jaime Nass. I developed some very weird side effects, including the sensation of water running down my leg and a mild case of tardive dyskinesia (involuntary muscle jerking) from the multiple psychiatric drugs she prescribed me. I had the sense that she was guessing. I didn't trust her judgment to fix the problem or find the right cocktail, so I went to my primary physician, who was horrified by the entire situation. My GP's feeling was that healthy, athletic 25-year-olds struggling with anxiety and depression should not be taking three psychiatric drugs, including Xanax every day. My GP got the situation under control, but my experience with Nass was very violating. Personally, I don't take any psychiatric drugs today and I heartily recommend a drug-free approach to mental health. These drugs messed with my sex drive, my metabolism, my energy, and my sense of smell, in exchange for only slight reduction in anxiety.

I have been seeing Jaime for almost six years to help with proper medication courses for bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. She has changed my life and I credit her for where I have landed today. She does not overmedicate, really understands your issues, and does not talk down to you. I am grateful for everything she and her team have done for me!

I can't say enough about Jamie. She has a wonderful way of putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable and "normal". She came highly recommended from a friend and I have since referred her to several of my friends. I am feeling 100% better and always look forward to our visits. She definitely took away any fear that I had of reaching out for help. And I'm so glad that I did.

I have been a patient of Jaimes for 2 years or so now and she has been wonderful! I feel 10 times better now then ever!
