James Armentrout

My PT, Jimmy Armentrout, was absolutely amazing. I was referred specifically to Jimmy by my Dallas-area orthopedic (hip) doctor who had worked with Jimmy in the past. As the PT got underway, Jimmy was able to deduce that my hip problem was much different than what I originally thought. I was so impressed with the treatment and the results that I called my other orthopedic surgeon (elbow) and asked for a referral to have Jimmy treat my post-surgical elbow area since the previous PT I had didn’t resolve the pain. Again, I was impressed with the treatment and results, so I called my orthopedic surgeon to request ANOTHER referral. This third referral was for my shoulder. I am very happy to say that Jimmy ALSO fixed my shoulder and now I am no longer in need of shoulder surgery. I can’t imagine a better outcome!

I was severely injured by this physical therapist. He used a belt and a wedge on me and treated me manually very aggressively. He was supposed to only be doing adhesion release. His treatment severely sheered my SI and caused several vertebrae and ribs to lock up in a cascading effect up my spine, sending me into #9 throbbing pain following his treatment. It took literally 6 months of treatment by a neuromusculoskeletal osteopath to get me back to my normal. I also found him very intimidating and rude. He would ask me a question and then interrupt before I had finished answering his questions. This happened repeated with medical questions. If you have any auto-immune/auto-inflammatory rheumatoid conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis or are fragile, I do not recommend this guy. We sent a few emails back and forth after the injury, and he took absolutely no responsibility for the severe problems he caused me, which actually could have fxd my spine. In the end, he gaslighted me.
