Dr. James Gomez, OD

I have been to Dr Gomez twice at his newest location in Alexandria. He and his receptionist are very friendly and professional. I have a difficult prescription to work with, having had a past injury, but Dr Gomez was able to make multiple suggestions to help fix my current workplace issues. I have recommended him to numerous friends/family due to his ability to provide solutions in a caring manner.

I have seen Dr. Gomez for over 20 years. He is the most professional and intelligent optometrist I have ever seen. He is exacting, thorough and empathetic. I recommend him above all others.

One clear cut observation that sums up this entire complaint is that this optometrist does not care if they give you a good prescription. Both my contact lens and glasses prescription was off and they went out of their way to NOT get this issue resolved. From not working with me to get trials lenses, to telling me they can't get my normal Acuvue Oaysis contact lenses, to telling me that my insurance was no good (when it was fully active) and then saying that they would not see me again until my insurance paid out (for which they could easily called DavisVision to confirm all was in order).
