AWFUL and rude doctor
Terrible awful doctor who lacks bedside manners, he interrupts you when you're trying to explain your medical issues and history. My experience was very negative and awful.

My husband had a serious condition which required multiple visits to Hoag ER. Dr. Shen is absolutely top notch. When it comes to serious issues, we TRUST Dr. Shen. He expects his staff to perform their best as well. I see the other review about his bedside manners and I did not see any flaws, only sheer professionalism.

We came into to ER at Hoag Irvine and were seen by Dr Shen on 1/7/2016.Dr asked the reason for the visit. I attempted to explain, but he interrupted. He lacked any bedside manner. He grabbed my mother leg where her wound was seeping and squeezed without warning. She screamed. He said At least I dont have to lance it. As a Registered Nurse with 10 years experience I thought I had seen the worst. Not until I met this Dr. Never will we go back to Hoag. Ever. After 20 years of service to my mom.
