Unpleasant
Disappointing experience. My primary care provider was not available and so I saw Jamie. Her attitude was unpleasant and condescending. Would definitely not recommend.

I have been seeing Jamie for about 2 years now and have been very satisfied with the care I have received. She is always very prompt and follows up by phone or email. She is very thorough with labs and routine procedures. She has always been polite, addressed all my concerns, and either resolved my issues or referred me to someone who specialized in whatever condition I had at the time. I have no problem getting my medications by requesting them by email or through my pharmacy.

Disappointing. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I've stuck with her for well over a year, and while she is more personable and listens better than she had in the past, things have only slightly improved. Both she and her nurse have an almost a combative attitude. I am a good patient and follow directions, so very slow responses or not receiving call backs at all regarding medications and/or test results is beyond frustrating. Then when I call again, I am met with defensiveness and am made to feel like I'm a pain. Sticking with it for now because UT's procedure for forwarding medication refill requests from pharmacies when you change providers is such a dismal failure.

Very uninterested in listening to anything the patient has to say. Very young and still very self-absorbed. Not very tactful to the point of almost rude condescending .took me 3 months to get her to put me on the right dose of medications that I've been taking for over 25 years she decided to reduce the dosage it didn't work.after months of telling her these are the dosages I've been taking almost as long as she's been alive she finally read the prescription for the milligrams! No bedside manner.

Jamie was kind, caring, listened, asked questions and listened to my answers. I found her very thorough. She explained things to me..... as my set of circumstances was about more than one issue. I liked her attitude, sense of humor and found her to be very professional. I will see her again and would recommend her.

Absolutely HATED Jamie Leonard, I saw her after my primary doctor left UT Primary. The day before my appointment I was diagnosed with the flu but instead of cancelling my appointment Jamie’s own office told me not to cancel my appointment. The following day Jamie scolded me for not canceling. She then followed up by contradicting everything that my doctor had previously said. There is a reason this woman is not an actual doctor she is not qualified. She did not listen to a thing that I said and was so stuck on herself it was ridiculous! I wish I could give 0 stars. Will be changing offices ASAP.

I switched to Jamie Leanord due to my regular doctor leaving University of Tennessee medical center. My first real appointment with her, she never looked up from her laptop and looked at me. Then, within 5 minutes she under no certain terms called me, morbid obese. This terminology has completely gotten out of hand. She never used any tactful words. I am very overweight. But, people have feelings and need some support not a teardown. I felt when someone is 250 or more maybe you should use obese but be careful with your wordings. I was wearing a jacket and boots and of course I was heavier. These doctors are pushing people from even going to doctors. I personally think, these doctors, P.A.'s and Nurse practitioners need better bedside manners and personal etiquette classes. I am seriously thinking of changing dr.'s. This has really set me back and hurt my me so, I am back into depression. Thanks so much, dr.
