No follow up and no preparation for my procedure
Telehealth
I had a vocal cord injection last Thursday. It was traumatic. I got no preparation for what it was going to be like. It was the worst sore throat I’ve ever had afterward. My voice still sounds horrible 4 days out and Jane was supposed to call me to follow up today and I never heard from her. My voice is important to my occupation, so this is very concerning. I’m very disappointed in the lack of follow-up care of information. Had I known what I know now, I may not have done this procedure.

Caring, attentive and supportive.
Words can’t express how safe and supported I felt during my visit. As a black woman, medical spaces can feel scary and can leave a feeling of lack of care but my experience was the exact opposite. In a vulnerable moment, Jane helped calm my nerves and walked me around the building. I am so thankful.

Comprehensive, informative, and friendly
Well, in addition to the thorough exam by Jane and her intern and their suggestions for going forward (the reason I was there after ll), what stood out to me was how much fun I had. Kind of a meeting of 3 minds, if you will. Their knowledge and experience didn't conflict with any of my training, so I look forward to the therapy sessions.

Jane Chandler
Jane was the most personable, caring, professional medical provider I have ever seen. She thoroughly explained the procedure for my swallowing test & took the time to get to know me as a person before she explained the procedures, which totally put me at ease. Jane was very professional and easy to communicate with. Her explanations of medical terminologies were easy to understand. She was accompanied by an assistant who was also pleasant to talk to. They both did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and at ease. I felt as though I’d known them for much longer! Dealing with a Paralyzed Vocal Cord
Jane was super friendly and very caring. She knew I was nervous but she helped me stay calm. We were able to laugh about things and that made everything much easier. She explained things thoroughly and made sure I understood. She obviously cares for patients. I was thankful to have her there.

Friendly and accommodating
Jane was cheerful and gentle through the visit, meticulous and attentive in her examination after the the injury to the vocal fold. A pleasant conversationalist, her demeanor helped ease my anxieties in my first time with fiber optic laryngoscopies.
