Dr. Newman-Kovacev is always helpful and takes the time to talk through the processes and encounters of first time parents. Her knowledge and insight has made the health aspect of parenting encouraging.

Dr Janel helped me with auto immune disease when the specialists not only couldn't help but actually made things worse. Dr Janel and Rico make taking care of my health a pleasant experience.

Dr. Janel has been our daughter's doctor for 13 years since birth. We have never been to an appointment where we felt rushed or unheard. She is professional, caring, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Janel takes the time to listen and is a master at diagnosing ailments that most MD's are stumped by. After years of being misdiagnosed by others, I finally got answers from Dr. Janel. I have been in her care for a decade and am grateful to have found her.

Dr. Janel is awesome. She is very personable, she listens and doesn’t rush. She is great with my kids, they feel comfortable with her which is rare with doctors. The whole family has experienced a noticeable improvement in our health. Will definitely continue to see her.

While she is very nice and does not rush you, that is not all that I look for in a doctor. After I told her what my issues were, etc. she asked me what it was I wanted her to do? She said that as I was already eating organic and whole foods and was taking the appropriate supplements, that she wasn't sure what it was that I wanted her to do? She had no interest in assisting me in finding out why I was having the issues that I was. They also advertise Saturday appointments are available by request. As I work in Seattle, I requested a Saturday appointment several times. I was always told they were booked up. When they tried to setup a follow-up appointment, I again asked for a Saturday appointment. I said it didn't matter how far out it was. I was fine with waiting for a Saturday opening. I never heard from them again.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Janel. She really takes the time to get to know her patients and find treatment plans that work for them as individuals. She has helped me through so many things that other doctors either would not address or just dismissed my concerns. You truly cannot find a better doctor than Dr. Janel!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Janel for 7 years now. She sincerely cares and values every patient, no matter the age, that walks through her doors. She has been fantastic with my daughters, as well as me. Our full family is in our best health today, because of her care. She is highly knowledgable and seeks to treat root causes versus symptoms. She takes her time for every visit, I never feel rushed and feel like all my questions get answered. She is one of the best doctors I have seen and so grateful to be her patient!!! I cannot recommend her enough!

I am so grateful I have found Dr Janel! She really listens to me, answers all my questions, takes time with me and I never feel rushed. And I finally feel like I have someone I can trust that really cares about my health! I no longer live in fear of going to the doctor! The best part is we work together as a team! I don't feel it's just her telling me what to do but we have a great conversation about what it is that I should do for my health, something we both agree on! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Newman-Kovacev is a compassionate, gentle practitioner who gives many ideas and options for treatment. She has helped us identify solutions that would not have been tried in a normal medical office, but works hand in hand with other specialists should a patient need to be referred out. Our three year old feels very comfortable in her office and with her!

Dr. Janel takes the time to find out the root cause of problems. She listens attentively and asks questions to better understand. I always feel well taken care of when I visit usually providing multiple options for care. I've switched my children over to her care as well.

My entire family sees this doc for our primary care needs. She is exceptional in both bed side manner as well as medical intelligence. I feel that she hears me and considers my beliefs and values when treating my family. Her office staff is also exceptional and very thorough.
