Janelle Zimmerman, LPCC

Janelle is pretty nice, but she is always totally distracted in session, which really detracted from the therapy experience for me. Janelle would space out very visibly while I was talking to her, which was pretty hurtful. She also could not keep track of what I told her from session to session, and didn't seem to care about it, even when I expressed concerns about this to her. After my experiences with Janelle, I was very reluctant to work with any other provider after what I had experienced. I only went a few times, because spending money on a therapist is a waste if they don't actually listen. Save your money and spend it on a better provider. Janelle will sit there and take your money, but she won't do much else. Definitely avoid her unless you literally have no other option. Her aloofness actually does more harm than good. Also, she always cut my time short by 10 minutes or so-- so you're not even getting what you're paying for. Look elsewhere for better care.
