Janet Lorang, NP

I had a lot of health issues after my pregnancy that were very frustrating for me, because I had always been very healthy until then. I chose Janet Lorang as my PCP because I thought nurse practitioners are more caring than doctors are, and would be personable. She was friendly up to a degree, but she never delved into what made me sick. I can't begin to explain the frustration I felt with how she just explained away all my symptoms as anxiety. I remember just crying one time I experienced symptoms how alone I felt and felt like there was no one I could turn to. Anyway, I decided to look for another PCP, and my new PCP has been incredible. He diagnosed everything I had and didn't dismiss them like Janet Lorang did. Now I feel much better, and I feel confident that if I have any health concerns, I will have someone to turn to.

She is friendly, personable, and does her job well. I would highly recommend her. I saw her at the Lexington location. She has provided my family with both pediatric and adult care.
