I worked with Janet Rasmussen a few years ago. At that time I was suffering a great deal. She was very unhelpful and uninformed about current research and pedagogy. I had to reschedule with her once and she never called me back or followed up despite the fact that I'd been driving 30 minutes to meet her weekly for months. What a waste of time. She seemed like she needed a bit of therapy herself. Avoid!

Janet worked with me in a capacity as a couples counselor first, and was amazing. She knows her stuff and called both of us out on our b.s. I also started working with her individually, and found her to be flexible, reasonable, and she explained EVERYTHING along the way. I was diagnosed with some big diagnoses while I worked with her individually and she unwrapped each diagnosis with me in a way that made me feel like I could manage my disease and live a productive life. I'd recommend her!
