Janet Whitney, LMFT

I have been seeing Janet for over 14 years. She has gotten me through the worst of times with her pureness. The decency and kindness of help she has provided has truly helped me in soo many instances of life situations. I was recommended by a friend and have since recommended others. A wonderful counsel to me.

I was referred to Janet for family counseling to address differences related to COVID, politics, divorce, and more family-specific subjects. My family member and I were both immediately comfortable with Janet. She is completely non-judgmental and an all-around kind person, in addition to being an expert at conflict resolution. I think my family member and I both learned a lot about each other's perspectives and how we think and respond to conflict differently. By gaining a stronger understanding of each other through Janet's coaching, we were able to talk through difficult and emotional subjects and are better prepared to address future differences. Janet is a great active listener - patiently taking in information, objectively highlighting key points, asking fair and polite questions of both parties to allow for better understanding of differing perspectives, and mediating a thoughtful and respectful discussion.

Janet is kind, caring and very positive. She genuinely cares about people and I would definitely recommend her if someone is looking for positive change and especially if they are willing to face their fears and evolve. She has a lot of experience and I trust her. :)
