During our first visit, she seemed polite but at the very end of our session, she asked for my mother's SSN and birthdate, which I politely declined to provide. I didn't think much of it, but she asked for this again over email, claiming it was for billing purposes. I'm clearly an adult in my 30s, there's no need for my parent's personal information. Just to be thorough, I called my healthcare provider who confirmed that she didn’t need my mother’s SSN and birthdate for ANY imaginable reason. Her request was so bizarre that I presumed her email account got hacked or something, I even left her a voicemail asking if everything was OK... she never returned my call. She then canceled our next appointments for a month before suddenly dropping me as a patient with no explanation. I filed as many complaints against her as I could. It was one of the most unsettling encounters I've ever had with any kind of healthcare provider. Avoid.
