Strongly reconsider seeing Janine Neale, LCSW
I had a disappointing experience with Janine Neale, LCSW. My spouse, who is LGBTQ and managing a severe mental illness, was negatively affected after seeing a viral TikTok video of Ms. Neale participating in a dance challenge with her family. The video was shared on an LGBTQ news site and widely perceived as mocking the community. This caused significant distress for my spouse, setting their treatment progress back by at least a year. If you are seeking inclusive and affirming care, I would not recommend Ms. Neale to members of the LGBTQ community. Her actions seem inconsistent with the values of equality and respect that are essential for effective mental health support. For culturally competent care, I suggest exploring other providers.
