Dr. Jared Debenedictus, DPT

Jared is a knowledgeable and experienced physical therapist who maintains an excellent rapport with his patients. He explains the problems and offers practical suggestions to continue the exercises at home. With his guidance my painful knee improved significantly over the weeks of therapy with his group of assistants at SportsMed in Franklin Lakes. The assistants worked well together to offer patients excellent care along with some humor. They endured my stupid jokes and anecdotes and made coming to the PT sessions fun, even though the workouts were serious and often challenging. Franklin Lakes will miss Jared, though I can understand that his commute was long and now costly, with the high gasoline prices. His future patients will benefit greatly wherever he decides to practice. He is a credit to his profession and will do well in the future.

My husband and I have been going to PT for the past 2 months, in Franklin Lakes for different conditions. Jared leads a small, efficient team of therapists that direct the patient to their next exercise. I have found Jared to be very professional, an expert in his field, dedicated and a good team leader. Every patient's condition is carefully reviewed; therapy plan explained. Treatment reviews occur every other week, and outcomes are shared with the patient. Dr. Jared is a solid man, with good values. He is very caring, gentle, but also authoritative when the need arises (exercise form is important; patients are watched with a keen eye). The team respects him. To this reviewer, it demonstrates expertise in one's field, self-confidence combined with excellent people and management skills. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that we look forward to going, three times a week. Our respective outcomes speak to the quality of the treatment.

I had a muscle driven back/leg issue - couldn't walk/stand for five minutes without significant pain (as in pushed the air out of my lungs pain). Jared got to the heart of the issue right away. Eight weeks on I am significantly better, and "trained up" on proper maintenance exercises. Hope to never see him again, but if I need PT again I'm going to him first.

This was my first PT so I didn't know what to expect. From the minute I sat down for my consultation with Jared, I felt comfortable and at ease. Jared listened to my every concern and didn't rush me at all and I can talk for hours. Jared is very profesional yet friendly enough to make the pain feel less painfull during the PT sessions. A perfect combo. Really nice for a change. I had issues with my lower back and Jared was able to create a treatment that worked well for me. I apreciated the time he took to discuss my progress at every single appointment. Im happy to say that after a couple of months of PT I am back to normal and that's a huge relief. Thank you!

From the initial exam, I knew Jared the therapist assigned too me was an excellent choice. He quickly discovered my core muscles were not engaging. This was a real issue, causing my body too overcompensate for it. Jared set me up with exercises too start activating the core. With massage, electric muscle stimulation and continually evolving exercise I got 100% improvement. This is a full hands on practice, you are treated as everyone’s patient. The therapy assistants are excellent always watching and helping when needed no matter the issue, you are never ever “left alone in the corner “. Harrison PT is a total team approach. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and very positive, friendly and patient. This is what PT is supposed too be, Well done too an unbelievable group of professionals. I have had PT before for another problem and did not have a good experience. I was very reluctant to have PT again, even thought I knew I needed it because of a TKR. Thankfully, my surgeon recommended Harrison and I was glad he did. Everyone was very nice and professional....Heather, the two Brians and of course Jared. Jared helped relieve my fears and talked me through it every step of the way. He was knowledgeable and always had answers to my sometimes silly questions. Thank you all for your help. Jared DeBenedictus was my Physical Therapist; he is knowledgeable, listens to what your concerns and goals are and follows up with each session. The entire team at Harrison Physical Therapy, from the front office to the staff in the therapy area, are friendly and accommodating, combined with a personalized service which is second to none. The office is very clean, efficient and well run. I would not hesitate to use this office again, should therapy be recommended in the future.

Jared was terrific, diagnosing pelvic slip and providing me with relief from the first session and onwards. After neck dissection surgery I needed PT to regain movement of my neck and shoulder. Jared worked with me 3X a week for 2 months. I noticed improvement soon after treatment began. Following Jared's advice I was diligent in doing exercises at home. Today I have full range of motion in both my neck and shoulder.

I picked the best Surgeon and Hospital (HSS in NYC)to have my Achilles Tendon rupture repaired, so that I could recover fully and be able to go on long bike rides and runs. It was natural that when it came to post surgery physical therapy i was looking for the best PT, regardless of travelling distance. After extensive research and consultations, I am glad I found Jarred. He is exactly what i was looking for, a great professional, he and his team have done a great job to get me back all the way

I recommend Jared in the strongest possible terms. He is a great communicator; you always know where you stand with your treatment. From his initial evaluation to my final visit, Jared was fantastic to work with. He did wonders for my back.
