Dr. Jason Hangauer, PHD

My wife and I completed an evaluation for our son who is 8. Dr. Jason as he likes to refer to himself was literally amazing! We were just so impressed with how professional he was and also personable with both us and our son we felt so great and my son kept asking when do we come back here this was fun! He was so helpful in understanding our son and I reallly REALLY liked how he encouraged my wife to think about what is going right for our child before heading into the problems which are many for our oldest child. This was a great experience and I now realize autism is a spectrum and just a so helpful experience. I know to not discipline my son for certain things I was and more. Just highly recommended for a parent who may think their child has autism

We just completed a long awaited appointment and WOW we are SO impressed with All Children's! Our daughter has had some difficulties for several years now and we had no idea how to pinpoint what was going on. This psychologist was ABSOLUTELY amazing in helping us understand her and I literally cannot say better things about him! As physician parents ourselves we expect a lot from a provider caring for our children and this psychologist was able to help us understand how to help her and she told us that he helped her understand herself much better and that she now has a plan in place moving forward. Just an absolutely great experience. I wish they had more psychologists like him to help our kids because the wait time was quite long! Just a great experience, with COVID19 we felt right at home and welcome and he helped us feel so at ease!

Great visit! Our pediatrician referred us to All Children's because our son started to have difficulties with his social skills. We knew something was different about him from when he was born but then also struggled because he is so smart and can do his schoolwork effortlessly. My wife and I thought autism was like the movie Rainmain or the show Atypical and now know it is those things but also is our son who is able to do so much but has some difficulty in certain areas of his life. The doctor we saw was outstanding, I normally don't do reviews but this guy went above and beyond to help us understand the results and what it meant for our son and also family. Our son is very nervous around new people and the doctor who spent the majority of the day with us was phenomenal in making us all feel welcome and our son said it was so much fun to come to All Childrens!

We really enjoyed learning more about what we can do to help our son. Dr Hangauer is probably the one doctor, ever that I have had the pleasure of working with who really listened to me! I am not the best at explaining things about my children and can get emotional but he really helped me figure out what was going on and develop a plan. It has been several months now since our appointment and his suggestions and recommendations helped so much! I especially liked how he asked me how the suggestions he had would fit into my life and if they were doable seeing how I have other children and then modified them so that I could do what he suggested every day. Overall, a great doctor who is a good listener and really helped me and my son I can't say more good things about All Childrens and the work they do!

This doctor is wonderful! I loved how comprehensive he was with my child and spent a lot of time explaining his condition and how we can help him. He gave us a folder full of resources that included behavior charts and talked with us about how we can form a partnership between our child's school and our home life. Also my child is very particular about people and Dr Hangauer spent extra time to make him comfortable and feel at ease. I love the treasure box idea! The doctor has a real treasure box with nice items for children on the spectrum to earn during their visit. His assistant Coria was also wonderful! She helped make sure my child had breaks and was very nice. We had no idea what to expect for our appointment and knew it was going to last all day so we were all very nervous but Dr Hangauer and Coria made us feel at ease and we now understand our son better and his uniqueness! Wonderful experience!
