I have worked for Ophthalmologist and many Optometrist, and they are all very good. When it comes to having my annual eye exam, there is only one and only one Dr I will go to...and that is Dr.Jason Nakagawa, the one and only and the very best! Soft spoken and very calm, he is very thorough, doesn't rush and gives you a lot of information. His office is very clean, warm and cozy, his ophthalmic instruments and equipment are impressive... modern and state of the art.

I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years and this was the BEST experience I ever had. Friendly staff, they were all really nice and patient with me. I was having trouble keeping my eyes open for the air spray test but they were understanding and did not get frustrated with having to do the test over and over. I have been using this doctor for years after moving from NY and working with an incredible doctor out there. With a family history of troubled eye health Dr. Nakagawa has always been one to run extra tests and do his due diligence! I'd definitely recommend him.

Won't be back. After letting him know I was quite nervous about my appointment, Jason casually informed me I had an irreversible issue that would only get worse and couldn't be prevented. He asked me if I had to be in front of people for work! He then proceeded to google image search the issue at a much more progressed stage - frightening me immensely. He read from the WebMD-like pages - literally from the screen about the condition and told me there was nothing to be done. Specialists disagree.
