Jason has really helped a close family member with various issues. He was very understanding & provided several techniques that assisted with areas they were struggling with. Jason has assisted my loved one for a few years now and we have seen much improvement in my family member's mental health. I would highly recommend

He does not honor all of his appointments. I was given last minute notice of the cancellation of a couple appointments. Afterwards, he made no attempt at making up that missed appointment in a timely manner. His availability was sparse and I did not find his counseling exceptional when he was available. Sadly, trusting him to be my counselor prevented me from finding another for months when I desperately needed to see one. My new counselor seems more professional, sharp, caring, is more available to me and seems much more effective than Jason. More concerning: my maximum out of pocket was met, making my appointments free. He never made me aware of this. When I saw no copay due from me--two months before my first appointment was processed--I brought this to his attention. If I did not become aware of this, I would not have received copays owed to me and probably would continue being charged for future visits. Thus, I would strongly suggest finding another counselor over Jason.

My experience with Jason was very counterproductive. I recently had suffered major psychological trauma and was seeking a counselor to help me process everything I was going through. His availability was sparse to begin with, which I was completely fine with. I made appointments with him over a week in advance. However, on multiple occasions, just a few hours before our session was to begin--sessions that I was looking forward to and needed very much--he canceled on me last minute. Consequently, I now need to find a new therapist and start this whole process over again. Seeing Jason was a complete waste of my time and I would absolutely not recommend him to anyone seeking good counseling.
