Dr. Jay Duhon, PHD

Dr. Duhon is very professional and insightful. He has provided me with tools I can use to help me navigate through my TBI recovery. He is patient and speaks clearly. Dr. Duhon administered my cognitive test and is working with me through my recovery. The fact that He administered the test rather than reading someone else's interpretation of my test results has been very helpful. Dr. Duhon helps me identify my blind spots and helps me identify and set reasonable goals. He suggests actionable exercises. He also works with my family with ways to facilitate my recovery and set expectations. I sincerely believe that I'm recovering because of the tools, work and insights he provides. He keeps me on track while being encouraging. I would certainly recommend him as would my family and friends.

He was great at taking his time with my elderly mother, so she'd understand every single thing he was explaining 100%. He spoke slowly and clearly to help with grasping concepts, and gave great examples to help Mom parse heavy topics more quickly and easily. Even though he'd already spent a ton of time with us, explaining things and answering many questions, when we said we were done asking questions, he asked "Are you sure?" Then he sat patiently while we really thought about it. He was kind and had a soft caring bedside manner. In addition, I have a neuroscience degree and knew exactly what to ask. He didn't leave any stone unturned, and covered all bases when testing. I feel like our results are trustworthy and thorough. Obviously, we both loved him. If we ever need a neuropsych again, we'll definitely choose him. I'll also be recommending him to any friends or family that may need one in the future.

Trustworthy, takes the time to break things down as needed, and never makes me feel rushed.
