Donna was taken from her home and placed in a filthy unsafe group home by her guardian Jayde Cherico from OPGNH. While there for 5 months, she fell down the stairs and broke her hip, lost weight size 0/93lbs. We fought the guardian from 11/2017 to send her to her Daughter in Minnesota to be cared for and be with family. Donna was finally sent out to Minnesota with her daughter on 6/1/18 and on 6/6/18 she was admitted to the hospital with severe malnutrition, end stage COPD, her hip was not healing and they said if she hadn’t taken her to the ER that night she would have died. Michelle was granted guardianship of Donna on 8/8/18. Donna is happy, gaining weight walking without her walker and settled in with her FAMILY. Her team of agency’s were working with us to move her instead of putting her in this group home but were blocked by Jayde Cherico. NO GUARDIAN SHOULD HAVE THIS MUCH POWER OVER ANYONE!

Poorly managed a family member, saw her swear at him a few times on hidden cam, as well as make up for a few personal phone calls on her cell phone and badmouth them. This behavior is unacceptable. This employee should lose her license.
